2016 Honda Civic 4dr Sedan

turbocharged 174hp 1.5L I4 CVT FWD

5000 mi GPS software updated/replaced with questionable success. I think it just takes much longer than usual, compared to other cars, for the GPS to acquire satellites, best done with the car sitting still.
19700 mi Cable connecting car functions (air bag, audio controls, etc) to steering wheel severed.
28000 mi Evaporator drain leaking water in passenger side floor
116000 mi Problem undiagnosed. Battery drains rendering car unable to start
36000 mi No cold air, system had to be evacuated and recharged. Dye was installed to check for leaks should the air blow warm at a later date.
17000 mi infotainment has gotten stuck twice unable to show favorite channels and being able to repair it through about a 4 steps procedure as read in honda forum.
12000 mi The air conditioning was not working and a mesh piece had a hole in it that needed to be replaced.
6200 mi Fan made noise
17980 mi Function screen blanked out. Honda dealer was able to reset but indicated this is a wide problem that may result in a recall
9300 mi The Satellite radio would not connect sometimes and would require reboot. They flashed the system with update, but they said that if got stuck and they did not know if it good or not. Still doing same thing so back it goes soon.
16000 mi Had To Update The software on the Infotainment as sometimes it would not connect to XM and needed rebooting of the system to get it to work
26000 mi Ticking noise could be heard when AC was on and would continue temporarily when AC was turned off.
27900 mi

C $150
The lane departure assist stays on all the time and activates at a much lower speed than its set at. The soft touch buttons shows its set to off but it’s still active. If the wipers are working the function does not activate. Honda is not able to resolve this and wants to charge me for diagnostic only.
2300 mi One trip to the dealership to replace the infotainment system. It was glitchy. They had a TSB and replaced the whole system no questions asked.

The driver's side door latch had to be replaced, it would freeze and not un-lock using the key fob, or key-less pull of the handle.
14000 mi My battery went suddenly dead. I got the car jumped and went to buy gas, the fuel door wouldn't open AND the driver's side door latch wouldn't open. Had to open from passenger's side door. Couldn't reproduce the problem at the dealership, so I took the car home.

AC leaked and had to be recharged. Condenser and compressor were replaced. Paid for out of pocket and then Honda issued a recall for that so ended up paying for the work several months after I paid the bill.
