Finally, problem was traced to faulty ignition switch and apparently has been successfully repaired. Engine began suddenly running very rough and on the verge of stalling at highway speeds. Car was brought to dealer, who also fixed electric problem , (dark current draining battery). This problem was determined to be small pieces of carbon infiltrating emissions controls, (PCV valve, etc.) High repair cost was due to labor as emission controls/modules were located between engine and firewall. Over 2,000 miles have been accrued since repair without further problems. | ||
