| 7000 mi | The shift (knob) module failed. It began with the vehicle not shifting out of park. Ignition was on, foot on brake, the knob turned, but the indicator stayed on "P" and just blinked. Took it to the dealership, they said we don't know, good luck. A couple of days later it left my wife and kids stranded in a parking lot after dark- the knob was locked and wouldn't turn at all. After 7 or 8 ignition cycles it finally worked. Took it to the dealership, they replaced the shifter knob module, and haven't had any more issues since then. |
