2017 Kia Sportage 4dr SUV

181-horsepower 2.4L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD

3100 mi Sportage has experienced random "cutting out" when pulling out from a stop sign or a red light right turn or even left turn into traffic at a green light. Happens very randomly & was noticed within the first month or so of operation. They are saying it could be caused by dirt in the tank? In a new vehicle? 
21080 mi Something to do with the temperature settings. One result was air-conditioning would drop out & blow warm air randomly
