Diagnosis, needs new clutch, my cost because car shows rev limiter hit, I object strongly, OK, one time good will replace disk,cover,brg ,flywheel $1700 Asked for demo from tech on how to drive car Justin explains, you can't drive aggressively, car has weak clutch,gearbox and cable shifter not like previous WRX, 2017 has different motor, turbocharger, drive line, a different clutch design, not a dual plate. his advice "Drive it like an automatic" meaning spare the clutch. Very disappointing! |

After 1/2 hour Frank, service manager explains new clutch required after 2200 miles because of my driving, worst failed clutch he has ever seen, shortest clutch life he has ever seen, since this is second clutch required and I signed agreement to pay for second clutch I must pay $2000 I complain to Subaru America, after 13 days Frank apologizes, their mistake, clutch fixed, no charge. |
