Also replaced a broken fuel door lock mechanism. One say I looked and it was open, mechanism wouldn’t work. The fuel door on a Q5 opens when you push it in slightly, but only when car is unlocked. |

When at the dealer for service I told the service representative about the problem, and said that even though it was over a year since I'd bought the car, I felt it was their responsibility to make sure this safety equipment was working properly when they sold me the car, and asked them to fix or replace it. The service rep consulted with his superior, and they replaced the defective tire inflation mechanism. |
