US $2500		 SRS airbag sensor in driver seat started to intermittently fail at 30,000 miles. Dealership said they couldn’t reproduce and sent me on my way, advising me to take a 1000 mile road trip because I didn’t truly need driver airbag. Sensor went into permanent fault shortly after, and I was 26 days over the 3 year warranty period (still under 32,000 miles) and the dealer quoted $2400 to repair.
