The Toyota Highlander is more reliable and cheaper to maintain as the Acura is Honda's luxury brand and even though it shares parts with the Honda SUV, the parts are more expensive because it is an Acura.
If the Toyota is luxurious enough, go with that as it will be more reliable and cheaper to repair over the long term.
