I've been a Ford man all my life. The day I bought this Acura, I test drove 2 Explorers and an Edge. I liked them, but was not enthusiastic about them. The salesman then suggested that I try the Acura...I couldn't believe the difference in the feel of this car compared to the Fords--much quieter and more precise feeling. It's been 18 months now and I still love the car.
We rented a 2017 Ford Escape to go one state over to pick up a 2016 Buick Envision Premium ll. My but was sir from the 1.5" of foam seat cushion and I had borderline tinnitus. I was trying figure out how Ford makes this a Lincoln MKC the handling was so bad. The brakes were great and we got 33.5 mpg at 65 mph for the full tank.
And the RDX is old and being replaced soon. The Buick Envision Premium is another step up from the RDX. :)

First I've heard the RDX is being replaced soon... I have an excellent 2014 w/127K miles and thinking of getting the 2017/2018 RDX. What do you believe the RDX will be replaced with?

It's due for a redesign, probably for the 2019 model year, as the current design was introduced in the 2013 model year and the CR-V was redesigned for 2017.
