TrueDelta Reviews the Brand Reputation of the Mitsubishi Lancer

Mitsubishi Lancer Brand Reputation: Cons
YearComment
Partly because Mitsubishi has had to rely heavily on incentives to sell outdated cars, and partly because people wonder if it'll be able to hang on much longer (if they realize it's still around at all), its brand image isn't the best. Personally, I don't expect Mitsubishi Motors to go away. If weak sales and financial losses could kill the company, or at least its American subsidiary, it would already be dead. see full Mitsubishi Lancer review

Face it, this is a Mitsubishi, a struggling brand with some very poor models dragging it down. This may affect resale value and as of 2012 Mitsubishi's future in the US is still uncertain. The Lancer is a great car but the overall brand is struggling. see full Mitsubishi Lancer review
