We purchased a 1988 Acura Legend, Type S, 2 door sport coupe in 1993 and kept it until we purchased this 2002 Acura in 2004. We gave the 88 to our son. We loved our 88 Acura so much that we shopped for another Acura when we went looking for a "new" car
When we got the 02 Acura, there was a transmission problem. The Acura Dealer replaced it ASAP under the warranty. Since then, nada. No problems with the 88 Acura in the 11 years we owned it.
