Styling is a personal issue and subjective, but I always liked the looks of the Z3, especially the convertible.
It handles great and the z rated tires really grip the road. I never felt out of control and I really pushed it on occasion.

I experienced continued problems with the A/C system and the engine cooling system. Also, the rag top did not hold up well and developed a leak.
I spent about $2500 on the A/C system and it was still not fixed. The dealer warranty any of their work and just wanted to charge me more for their next "trial and error" fix (the emphasis here is on "error").
For the price of the car, I expected it to hold up much better.
I sold it after 75,000 miles and was tired of all the problems.
