Both lines were replaced, should have been an easier job but one of the line fittings was corroded into the fitting on the trans causing much strugglation. lol Also fan shroud fastners were corroded together. I believe I invented new swear words while performing this repair. | ||
Mar 2021168000 miUS $250 | Had alternator load tested at local parts store, it failed. Ordered new alt from Azn, it arrived damaged in shipping, returned/exchanged and finally installed. Jan 2012248000 miUS $50 | Replace both valve cover gaskets, which were leaking, at same time was replacing intake manifold gasket, that was leaking. Replaced both valve cover gaskets, while replacing the instake gasket, since easier to do both as once. Buick 3.8 gaskets leak at high mileage, 248k miles in my case. Original upper radiator hose ruptured at 242,000 miles. Replace both upper and lower hoses, plus replace thermostat. |
