Reviewed: 2007 Buick Terraza

4dr Minivan, ext. 240-horsepower 3.9L V6 4-speed automatic FWD

Why the 2007 Buick Terraza?

Quietness

GM upped the insulation on their stock van for the Buick iteration and it is quite quiet. Materials well above other GM vans in same family.

Price or payments

Given that GM has bailed on minivans, very well equipped versions can be had for thousands less than other brands.

Fuel economy

See 25-27 MPG on highway trips with regularity. Not bad for 245 HP V6, loaded, with dual AC running.

Why Not the 2007 Buick Terraza?

Cargo capacity

Cargo capacity very poor compared to other vans. Middle seats not removable due to side bags.

Rear seat room & comfort

Interior seat configuration is abhorrant. Nigh impossbile to get to row 3 without hurting oneself.

Reliability & durability

Really only problem is power door on one side - but with two kids, that becomes an annoying dice roll to see if it will close properly on a given day. Everything else has been trouble free.
