TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2014 Cadillac CTS

2014 Cadillac CTS Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearComment
The first two generations of the CTS were "in between" cars larger than a BMW 3-Series but more compact than a BMW 5-Series. Contented and priced like the former, they weren't pitched as competitors to the latter. With the third-generation sedan this has changed. The new CTS leaves the 3er for the ATS and goes head-to-head with the 5er. However, the 2014's exterior and interior are only a bit more expansive than those of the 2008-2013 car. Also, the rear doors do not open wide enough for easy entry. You'll still find a roomier, more comfortable, easier to access rear seat in the 5-Series, even if the official specs suggest otherwise. see full Cadillac CTS review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2010 Infiniti M

2010 Infiniti M Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2011 4dr Sedan 420-horsepower 5.6L V8
7-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Very comfortable up front. see full Infiniti M review
2011 4dr Sedan 330-horsepower 3.7L V6
7-speed shiftable automatic AWD
The footwells are very narrow for a car of this size. This is a side-effect of it being RWD. The "dead" pedal seems to be in the wrong spot, at least for me; it's too far to the right. On the plus side the air conditioned seats are great. It is possible to drive around in 90 degree weather wearing shorts, with the windows down, and feel comfortable. see full Infiniti M review
2011 4dr Sedan 330-horsepower 3.7L V6
7-speed shiftable automatic RWD
Very envelopped and comfortable seat, have better padding, and seating posture is better than most of the luxry cars I tried. see full Infiniti M review
2009 4dr Sedan 325-horsepower 4.5L V8
5-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Huge rear seat with tons of space. Passengers routinly comment on how comfortable it is. Significantly more rear seat room then 5 series BMW. Ininiti G35/37 has more rear seat than the 5 series. see full Infiniti M review

The fronts seats need more bolstering. The BMW 5 series has much, much better seats. If I could change one thing about the car, it would be the seats. Anyone considering this car should sit in the seat at least 30 minutes before making a purchase decision. see full Infiniti M review
