Why the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche?

Interior styling

Two tone leather and aluminum trim on the Z71 package is cool. Leather, in general, is nice. Controls are well placed and not confusing. Very comfortable for long drives.

Rear seat room & comfort

The interior is basically a Tahoe and even with 5 people, the truck is comfortable. Rear AC and headphone jacks help too.

Cargo capacity

It has a covered bed, tows like a Silverado and has the interior of a Tahoe. Perfect for someone who occasionally has to haul and/or transport things in a truck bed.

Exterior styling

It looks tough while showing more class than a standard pickup truck. The Z71 with 18 inch wheels and the various external enhancement packages are nice.

Feature availability

Lots of options. You can start at a base of 30k and choose what you want to over 43k.

Why Not the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche?

Fuel economy

14MPG in the city sucks.

Audio & nav systems

The audio is acceptable with the Bose system, but it lacks the punch I would expect from top end systems. The NAV was very expensive given its features and capabilities.
