Wiper motor malfunction. Dealer claimed I "stripped" the wiper motor due to ice build up on the windshield, but the motor was not stripped. Price shown for dealer diagnosis. I bought and repaired the car on my own after I told the dealer and GM where they could go. Interestingly there was a TSB for this exact issue on this car, where both motors could stop working in cold weather, and the dealer should replace with upgraded unit (was a recall in Canada). After this experience I will not buy another GM vehicle again. |
