Satellite Radio Reception

Ask the People Who Own One:

I would like to know if i have to upgrade my satellite radio antenna to get better reception out if my satellite radio?
Satellite radio is constantly losing the signal especially during the day. (Not to mention local radio stations are so bad that I don't even listen to them, the sound and reception is really bad. Like having no antenna at all)...
So I've been using my phone to stream sirius xmthrough bluetooth. ShouldI replace the shark fin with a another antenna?

Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

I have a 2012 Grand Sport Corvette, and I loose the satellit connection on a regular basis. My AM & FM are just fine. I believe it is the Satellit (SiriusXM) broadcasting that is the actual problem. Just my opinion.

Sounds like it could be a bad ground on the antenna if it's affecting both satellite and terrestrial radio reception.

I have similar problem. I've read that it has something to do with the way Sirius compresses its signal. Contacted them by email but no response.
