2007 Chevrolet Cobalt Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by ***ryanarchie

Safety & braking
The braking is very good, even in the base model. And the safety of the car is ranked as one of the best in its class.
Fuel economy
While the Cobalt may only get 23mpg in real city driving with a heavy foot, it is still relatively easy to achieve 28mpg in the city and 35+mpg on freeway.
Powertrain performance
The 2.2L Cobalt is very strong for such a small, N/A motor. The 2.4L is strong, but the 2.0L supercharged motor really shines. All of the motors are slightly underrated, with the 2.0L supercharged being highly underrated.
Interior styling
The 2005-2006 base models have a very old and not aesthetically pleasing style. Which is why I purchased the 2007 (along with the update in power).
Rear seat room & comfort
It is a sport compact car, so as one would expect, the rear seat is fairly difficult to get to, but once you are there, it is quite comfortable.
