The best thing is the flexibility of the cabin configuration. I have tall in-laws and my wife and I are both tall, so the adjustments you can make to the cabin configuration depending on the use are important. see full Chevrolet Equinox review

See above. When we are alone, we put the back seats all the way forward and the front seats all the way back, maximizing hauling space. When accompanied, we change it to maximize rear passenger spce. see full Chevrolet Equinox review

Seat is okay on the interstate, but on a twisty road - forget it! Good thing it has a drivers door and a console, otherwise you would fall out or wind up in the passenger seat. Speaking of the console, what a joke!!! Idiot that designed that should be see full Chevrolet Equinox review

TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2013 GMC Terrain

2013 GMC Terrain Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearComment
2013 The GMC Terrain's long wheelbase also pays off with noticeably more rear seat leg room than in competitors. In fact, there's a little more combined legroom in the first two rows than in the far larger Yukon XL, and a few more inches than in the larger Acadia. Sound like enough space to fit a third row? Perhaps, but GM opted not to offer one. The Terrain is thoroughly compact in width. The larger GMCs remain much better options for transporting three adults in the back seat. They're also better for carrying cargo. The Terrain's cargo floor is long, but its also high and narrow, and the second-row seats don't fold flat. see full GMC Terrain review
