2019 Chevrolet Equinox Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Great Compact SUV by gtodriver

AFter being without an SUV for a couple of years, decided to add one to the garage. We were interested in either the GMC Terrain or the Chevy Equinox based on reliability, fuel economy, size and hauling capacity.
The Equinox was significantly less expensive (comparably equipped - out the door price) so it made the decision quite simple.
Good styling and fit and finish were excellent.
The fuel mileage is even better than expected. Last summer we drove from our home in SE MN to St. Louis and averaged 35.2 MPG for 450 miles while driving at freeway speeds most of the way (typically about 73 MPH).
