2013 4dr Sedan turbocharged 138hp 1.4L I4

The fuel economy is excellent on this car as long as you are not on the pedal too heavy. Freeway (70-75 mph) mileage is around 40 to 42 mpg. Rural highway (55-62 mph) 42-46 mpg. The worst mpg i have every experienced is 36.5. This was mostly in town with the AC on. see full Chevrolet Sonic review
2012 4dr Sedan turbocharged 138hp 1.4L I4

Have never got below 37.7 miles to the gallon. I do drive conservatively but even when my husband who drives significantly more aggressive the gas mileage has been excellent see full Chevrolet Sonic review

I had a Choice between My Current Car, a Kia Rio , a Ford Focus and Mazda 3. Between ALL these only the Sonic was a Certified Pre-Owned Vheicle and the others were not. The Fuel economy was ALMOST the Same..but i thought the Sonic had faired A Tad bit better. see full Chevrolet Sonic review

This car may be rated 18mpg city and 25mpg highway, but I don't drive many highways, and in red-light happy Houston I get 25mpg without even trying. Driving a long highway trip yielded closer to 29mpg. Sure it's premium, but for a 240bhp car, grea see full Honda S2000 review

to get even some rise out of the engine it has to be revved high this tends to use up a lot of fuel see full Honda S2000 review

about 20mpg in spirited driving. drinks premium fuel. see full Honda S2000 review

I find 25-30 city/road overall to be most acceptable with a highly tuned engine that begs to be driven hard. We all wish for greater mileage. However, the S2000 is first and last a performance vehicle. With that in mind, I am quite pleased. see full Honda S2000 review
