When I bought the Tahoe a year and a half ago, the incentives were great. The dealer, however was only so - so.
The incentives drove down the purchase price condsiderably.

From the minute we drove it off the lot the glove box had a rattle! It was due to the poor fit and finish and second rate materials the car was made of. The paint stone chipped very easily. The suspension was loaded with creaks and rattles.
The brakes, steering and engine- transmission were OK; the driving dynamics needed lots of work. For a car so big GM should have put more effort into controlling the high speed driving characteristics. The trans was only a 4 speed while others offer more.
