The rear seats have limited leg room. A forward facing child car seat (Safety 1st Air Protect) is fine but to install it rear facing would make the passenger seat almost unusable and being a 4 seat there is no option to install in the middle of the rear which i find allows in many cars a good way to keep everyone safe & comfortable. see full Chevrolet Volt review |

No power seat in a $46k car?? Get real, Chevy. Once you get used to them, though, both front and rear seats are comfortable for up to an hour or so. Longer than that and I need different lower back support that it doesn't have. But they are heated which is nice and it's comfortable leather. The problem isn't so much the room available in the front seat -- once you're settled, it's fine. It's getting in and out. This car sits low, and has short doors. Getting in takes a concerted effort to not bop your head on the doorframe. Getting out sometimes takes putting your hand on the ground and falling out, then jumping to your feet like "I meant to do that!" Come to think of it, there have been a couple of times that a large-ish dip in the road has made my head actually hit the ceiling. On the other hand, this particular car has the sunroof, which reduces headroom. Still, I'm only 5'10", and I can't wear a hat in the Camaro. see full Chevrolet Camaro review |
