The front seats offer very good support and the seat bottoms are designed for tall drivers.. see full Chevrolet Volt review |

2014 | 4dr Hatch 149-horsepower Electric + Gas CVT FWD |
Rear seat is adequate, but it is difficult to install or remove a child seat. The cushion is too firm to make this easy. see full Chevrolet Volt review |
2014 | 4dr Hatch 149-horsepower Electric + Gas CVT FWD |
The car is only a four seter so there is no room if you have five people and with the front seats back all the way it is a little tight. see full Chevrolet Volt review |
2013 | 4dr Hatch 149-horsepower Electric + Gas CVT FWD |
The rear seats have limited leg room. A forward facing child car seat (Safety 1st Air Protect) is fine but to install it rear facing would make the passenger seat almost unusable and being a 4 seat there is no option to install in the middle of the rear which i find allows in many cars a good way to keep everyone safe & comfortable. see full Chevrolet Volt review |

Front seats are semi-hard and covered in strange material. I could see people larger than myself having issues with them. see full Chevrolet Volt review |

No power seat in a $46k car?? Get real, Chevy. Once you get used to them, though, both front and rear seats are comfortable for up to an hour or so. Longer than that and I need different lower back support that it doesn't have. But they are heated which is nice and it's comfortable leather. A few tweaks and/or an optional chair & this would be a non-issue. see full Chevrolet Volt review |
2014 Ford Expedition Seat Room and Comfort: Pros | ||

2014 | 0 | The driven Limited trim had black heated and cooled front seats. The cooling was necessary in the summertime Texas heat and perfomed well - I turned them on every time I got in the car (unlike the Lexus system, that you can leave on as it is a dial, you have to activate the cooling every single time you restart the car). These thrones were comfortable for a 4 hour drive - there was more room for someone who has more girth than I. Also, adjustable pedals are a great Ford innovation that I wish more manufacturers would include. My wife (who is 11 inches shorter than me) could easily drive this beast comfortably, without sitting too close to the steering wheel. see full Ford Expedition review |
2014 | 0 | Both the second and third rows have ample room, with and without kid's car seats, for three across. The third row isn't an afterthought like in other SUVs and even 5'11" adults are happy back there. Additionally, the vents provide adequate AC in 100+ degree heat. There are plenty of easily accessible LATCH anchors if you wish (although seatbelts are generally just as easy and have a higher weight rating with car seats than the LATCH anchors). Most minivans (except the Odyssey) do not have LATCH in the center of the second row - only on the outboard - and only have LATCH in the center of the third row. The Expedition (and Odyssey) is nice because they are flexible where you can put car seats comfortably. see full Ford Expedition review |
