19000 mi Transmission failed to shift properly and was replaced
19000 mi Both the trans and Eng computers needed reset. Due to a recall
27000 mi Update to PCM and TCM. These updates greatly increased the smoothness of the shifts and engine when idle.
50000 mi Transmission needed to be reflashed to shift smoother. Have been told that this is a common occurrence and will have to continue doing this the life of the vehicle.
24180 mi Car always shifted roughly from gears 1-3. Chrysler released a TSB which fixed the issue and car shifts smoothly now.
5340 mi R08-recall for parking rod issue. Transaxle was replaced
13200 mi Shifting hard from 4th to 5th and back down 5th to 4th.
29000 mi Transmission shifting hard 4 to 5. 5 to 4.
29787 mi Car is shifting very hard between 4th and 5th gear, both up and down. Dealership did a software update.
8000 mi The 200C was having serious shifting/slipping issues with that awesome ZF trans. Did not want to deal with it and took a serious bath on trade in value.
Transmission issue caused car to have to be towed in to dealer. Issue happened before recall. Parts replaced but did not fix stuttering issue. Dealer refused to acknowledge stuttering was occuring. Recall for transmission. Car severely stuttering during driving. Dealer refused to endorse this as a serious concern and refused rental while waiting on part availability. Sold car due to fear for family safety.
6000 mi Transmission slips into neutral dealer unable to repliacte performed tcm update
6000 mi Slips into neutral Dealer found fault codes. Replicated Problems. Replaced TCM. Made problems worse. Car now accelerates by itself. Dealer is aware and ordered new transmsission. Transmission needs replacement according to Chrysler Engineering (STAR). Dealer ordered new transmission. Expedited Trans Expected May 16.
6000 mi Trans died. No power in gear, shifts to neutral. Stuck in gear.
6000 mi Never resolved problems with transmission. At the end, it was determined that it was a wiring harness/wiring issue where the wires would chafe, shorting out various control modules in the car. Became a recall.
14000 mi During first 6 months, had issue with transmission coming out of drive in neutral when taking off from stopped then slamming in - causing car to leap forward. Unknown if trans flash really fixed it. Transmission shifts from 2 to 3 are delayed and abrupt. Jerky and uncertain. Dealer performed transmission flash - no change. Transmission is fine on highway - city driving very disappointing.
22000 mi Two unresolved issues with these 9 speed transmission after two updates. 2 to 3 upshifts are better but still slams in sometimes. Worst, during 5 to 4 downshifting it ALWAYS accelerates. This is a safety issue. Chrysler advises - "Normal"
19220 mi The transmision will occasionally jerk/jolt from 4th gear into 5th gear. It didn't act up on the 5 minute test drive so nothing was done.
19220 mi The valve body was replaced.

US $100
Transmission would not shift out of 4th gear. Not sure what they did exactly but it was about $3500 worth of warranty work taking about 2 weeks because parts were backordered at Chrysler. Cost to me was $100 for the deductible and the dealer provided a loaner.
7440 mi Hard shift from second gear to third gear. Sporadic engagement noise from powertrain.
39000 mi recall regarding the transmission that was "jumping". I was told it was fixed but still feels strange at times.
27000 mi AWD system stopped working, warning lights on. Rear differential actuator needed replaced and Drive train Control Module was also replaced.

30100 mi Would not shift. Software upgrade, then solenoid, then replaced a valve body.
