Exterior styling
They style was unlike anything else on the road at that time. Everything else looks like it came out of a cookie cutter.
Cargo capacity
I haul two to three kayaks on top, the gears in the back and the kayakers inside in comfort.
Price or payments
I bought mine slightly used for 16K and payments are right in my budget.
Brand reputation & image
At the time of purchase I owned two Cadillacs and one Town and Country. I always like driving the T&C better.
Interior styling
The interior is roomy and offers convienant cup holders and 3 zone climate.
Powertrain performance
Transmission clunks into gear when going uphill at a slow speed. Makes to much noise when cruising. And I am now having differential noise and problems which the dealr recommends I do not change due to the fact the new ones will be noisier(?).
Fuel economy
On average I get great mileage in the city 17.5 to 19 mpg. But on the highway I only get 22 unless I stay below 65 then I get 27
Materials & workmanship
Lots of rattles!! The dash rattles, the front end rattles, the consoles rattle. When the windows are shut tight I hear a lot of wind noise. Trim screws have fallen out on the seat trims and dash. I found water around the amplifier in the rear 1/4 panel.
Reliability & durability
I do not feel comfortable taking long trips in this car due to the transmission noises. I drive in the heat of Florida and often to Virginia. My last few trips I have rented a car just to not have the worry of a breakdown.
Dealer practices
My clearcoat started peeling just after purchase (17k)Dealer said Chrysler stated this was due to rock chips I took photos and there were none.Dealer finaly agreed to recoat after I threatened to call CEO at 3AM on a Sunday at home. I have thatreputation
