Chrysler Town & Country Real Gas Mileage: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2012 4dr Minivan, ext. 283-horsepower 3.6L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Fuel economy averages around 20 mpg for us, which is mostly mixed driving. Not bad for such a large vehicle, that has impressive power. The highway mileage is impressive. In good weather, with the cruise set on 70, it gets about 30 mpg. Really impressive for such a big vehicle. Of course different terrain and weather conditions can affect that a lot. Winter highway mileage, more like 24 mpg. Overall I am impressed with the combination of power and fuel economy. see full Chrysler Town & Country review
2009 4dr Minivan, ext. 197-horsepower 3.8L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Many of our trips, we average between 23 and 25 MPH. Its not bad for four to six people plus a dog and luggage. We could not fit all our stuff into two of most vehicles. see full Chrysler Town & Country review
2007 4dr Minivan, ext. 180-horsepower 3.3L V6
4-speed automatic FWD
It gets 24 to 25 MPG at 70+ on the freeway and near 20 in short trip and city driving. Very good mileage for a 7 pass van. see full Chrysler Town & Country review

2008 4dr Minivan, ext. 251-horsepower 4.0L V6

1) Mileage is what the EPA sticker states. However, thought I would be able to get better than stated in real life conditions. see full Chrysler Town & Country review
2008 4dr Minivan, ext. 197-horsepower 3.8L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
I get less fuel economy than 2006 model I had. It is a heavier vehicle and not as aerodynamic. Without the 6 speed it might be less. 16 city 22 highway. see full Chrysler Town & Country review
2007 4dr Minivan, ext. 200-horsepower 3.8L V6
4-speed automatic FWD
would like to get 20+ city and 27 - 30+ country see full Chrysler Town & Country review
2003 4dr Minivan, ext. 215-horsepower 3.8L V6
4-speed automatic FWD
Very poor fuel economy when it comes to city driving. Highway driving fuel economy is acceptable for 2003 model vehicles of this type. see full Chrysler Town & Country review
