My 01 Caravan has 155k with no transmission problems. I proactively cleaned the computer contacts several years ago and of course changed the fluid as recommended. My third Caravan; this one has been trouble free.

in the 1990s and up to about 2002 Chrysler mini vans had a bad reputation for transmissions. Around 2002-03 they fixed things up. My minivan is a 2007 grand caravan extended. The last year of the rounded body style. I have 250,000 kilometres on it. (156,000 miles) I change the transmission fluid every 100,000kms. Costs about $130 at my shop. Never had any tranny issues. I plan to scrap my minivan at 300,000. It has been one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. And one of the least expensive to repair. The worst part is 2 air condo repairs. But that is normal. I have had to fix the ac on every car I have ever owned At least once. I highly recommend a Chrysler minivan. Amazing vehicle for the money. And the gas mileage is not that bad.
