Reviewed: 2005 Dodge Magnum

4dr Wagon 250-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic AWD

Why the 2005 Dodge Magnum?

Feature availability

awd, traction control, stability control, brake assist, anti-lock brakes, sunroof correctly sized and placed and adjustable pedals.

Discounts & incentives

30% off brought it down to what it was worth compared to similar brands.

Front seat support & comfort

Great back support, heated, fine adjustability but could use bigger side bolsters. Tilt/telescope leather wheel and power pedals help with finding a comfortable position. With the 08 softer arm rest materials, it should be much better.

Why Not the 2005 Dodge Magnum?

Exterior styling

Ugly pug face (a 300c front clip would be better but not perfect) and not quite finished looking rear. Because the wheelbase is so big the sloping style looks awkward from some angles.

Fuel economy

Lately I get 17-18 in the suburbs (subtract 2 mpg in winter). Good compared to some, but I wanted better even back in 2005.
