5-speed shiftable automatic 4WD, part-time w/low range		 The milleage was terrible , my friend made the same trip as I did with a similar equiped Ford 5.4 L , 4x4 and used 30 % less gas. I rented this truck for a 2 week hunting trip to test it befor buying a new one. I will buy another Ford or GMC. see full Dodge Ram 1500 review
