118000 mi

US $100
Replaced both outer tie-rods; upper/lower ball joints; sway bar bushings; and, stabilizer links.
134000 mi

US $738
Replaced both inner and outer tie rods as all components appeared to be original and had excessive play. Outer tie rod ends were not serviceable (no grease fittings). Replaced sway bar bushings and linkages. Equipment all appeared original. Bushings looked slightly worn (when inspected after removal) and linkages had excessive play. Replaced both upper and lower control arms as ball joints had excessive play and were not serviceable (no grease fittings). Was easier to replace the entire arms which came complete with new bushings and ball joints. Will save the old and order & replace with new parts for future service. Replaced spring insulator for lower control arms. One appeared OK, while the spring end had worn through the other. This is an often overlooked item when the front suspension is serviced. Complete front end alignment after all other items had been serviced. Replaced driver and passenger side wheel bearings. Symptoms: 1) groaning sound when vehicle slowed; 2) clanging sound when backing or slowly accelerating from a dead stop. Raised vehicle and performed wheel bearing check (grabbed each wheel and rocked back and forth). Wheels demonstrated play which indicates bearing failure.
