We have same issue with 2015 Ford Escape.Passenger side upper weather strip(that is a part of inner door jamb is not in place or sitting properly compared to drivers side.Do visual coparison of both.
Will see dealer in fall.Don't know if you can pull off and reinstall.Will let dealer attend to
