Has performed better than expected. Very reliable.
Very comfortable to drive and ride in. Never any fatigue even with long trips, and visability is exceptionally good.
Solid construction and good materials. My Exp. is now pushing 13 years old and leather is still like new, paint great, interior overall perfect. 261,000 miles of usage.
Rear bucket seats as comfortable and roomy as front row.
Why Not the 2000 Ford Expedition?
The 5.4 L engine gulps fuel. Usually get 14 around town and best of 18 mph on highway if easy on the throttle. Probably all that can be expected of such a heavy vehicle with high wind resistance.
Conclusion
More than happy with the Expedition.
