2006 Ford *Explorer Sport Trac Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2007 4dr SUT 292-horsepower 4.6L V8
6-speed automatic 4WD w/low range
The seats are much improved over older explorers. You can ride for 4 hours and not feel tired when you get out of the truck. I have heated leather, which I recommend. The heat is in the lumbar, as well as seat bottom. Very nice seats. see full Ford *Explorer Sport Trac review

YearBody/PowertrainComment
2010 4dr SUV 187-horsepower 2.7L I4

Lots of room in the second row, including seats that recline and move back & forth. Having the third row as an option for occasional use was really the deciding factor. see full Toyota Highlander review

seats were hard and flat. Even top of the line luxury model seats were a big disappointment . . . one of the principal reasons we did not choose this vehicle see full Toyota Highlander review
