Its cramped, but seems about the same as any other car in its size range. It was easier to get in and out of compared to a Mazda 2 and about the same as current generation Prius C. I wouldn't take anyone long distances in the rear, but I didn't expect to. We have a 2009 Prius which is our long distance carry people car. This is a glaring issue with the Insight. Leg room is for children and my head hits the roof and a little bit of the rear hatch. There is a warning sticker about making sure go watch the heads of your rear seat passengers when closing the hatch. see full Honda Insight review |
