I must have hit the dealer at the right time because I am paying less for the V6 6SP than I was paying for a 2003 EX-L 4 cyl w/5SP and with no money down, only first months payment due at signing.

The V6 w/ 6SP is very smooth in the power delivery. It is not always necessary to downshift to accelerate. I did experience the 2-3 upshift issue but only a handful of times and it has not happened in about 1-1/2 years.
