Why the 2004 Honda Accord?

Past personal experience

This is my 4th Honda Accord and every one has been trouble free. Every Accord from the 4 cylinder to the V6 I now own has got better mileage than the EPA estimate. The V6 I now own is powerful, quite, handles great, and as smooth a V6 as you will drive.

Reliability & durability

What can I say? The Honda Accord is a trouble free auto, that if serviced regularly as mine is, will give you years of trouble free service. The Accord is just put together right. All this from a car made in Marysville, Ohio. And American car built here.

Fuel economy

All the Accords I have owned have beat the highway EPA estimates. This Accord with the V6 is rated at 30 mpg. On my last trip to St. Louis I got 32 mpg with 4 passengers and driving around 75 mph. Hard to beat in a mid-sized sedan.

Powertrain performance

The V6 with 240 h.p. is not only powerful, and smooth, but gets great mileage. This engine is IMO one of the smoothest V6s you can buy. Coupled with the Traction Control and the ever so smooth 5 speed automatic, it even performs well in snow.

Handling

The Accord handles great, and may not suite someone who is looking for a plush ride. The Accord rides more like an European car than an American car. The ride is not harsh, but is not cushy either. You drive this car and can feel the road which is a plus.
