I was pleasantly surprised after test driving the 2013 Accord. The other vehicles I considered were: Mazda CX-5 - lack of power in the 2.0 ltr engine Subaru Outback - poor acceleration (4 cyl model) I purchased the 2013 Accord Sport (6sp. man) sedan

Why the 2013 Honda Accord?

Powertrain performance

Performance and Handling of the 2013 Accord Sport (6-speed manual) has been excellent. I was pleasantly surprised when test driving a 2013 Accord Sport, that I decided to purchase one. Driving, handling, and the features were very nice. Handling is is very responsive and little to no sway or body-roll in the turns. Acceleration was impressive compared to the previous generation 5-speed (manual) Accord (2008-2012).

The 2013 Accord is very quiet compared with the previous Accords. I test drove the LX sedan (auto), the LX-S coupe (6-sp man) and the Sport (6-sp man). All were a lot quieter then previous Hondas models I own. The 2013 does have active noise cancellation, which comes standard in all trim levels, including the LX and Sport. So far I have been impressed with the 2013 Accord, over previous Accord model years.

Color choices

Color choices are very limited if opting for a manual transmission. LX (sedan 6-sp man) - Silver, black, modern steel matallic. Sport (sedan 6-sp man) - mod. steel metallic, black My choice would have been while or champagne, but that is not offered. I opted for the Sport 6sp man. in modern steel metallic, which is a darker grey variant.

Why Not the 2013 Honda Accord?

Color choices

Color choices are very limited when opting for a manual 6-sp trans. I still purchased the car, but adding a white or champagne/beige exterior color (With 6-sp manual) would be nice.
