The balance between reliabity and power has been very good see full Honda Accord review

2007 4dr Sedan 244-horsepower 3.0L V6

2007 4dr Sedan 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed manual FWD
Highway driving: quite smooth and non-offensive sound. City: annoying drone of a 4-cylinder in 1st and 2nd gear. Yet quiets down by the time I shift to 4th. That is typical of most all i4 engines, so it wasn't a surprise, nor a deal breaker. The acceleration feels sluggish in 1st and 2nd, yet once 3rd gear is used, the car seems to pull very well. It's a spunky sounding car that like most Hondas, feels and sounds great in the upper revs. see full Honda Accord review
2007 4dr Sedan 244-horsepower 3.0L V6
5-speed automatic FWD
Athletic engine, well programmed auto transmission, great handling. Ride is firm with 17 inch wheels, but not too bothersome on rough roads. see full Honda Accord review
2007 4dr Sedan 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed automatic FWD
Surprising performance from 4 cyl see full Honda Accord review
2006 Honda Accord Powertrain: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2007 4dr Sedan 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed manual FWD
The clutch creaks in warmer weather. It's annoying and sounds like an old bed or rocking chair. This is a known complaint in the manual transmissions of this generation car, (2003-2007). It's not a safety issue though. see full Honda Accord review
2006 4dr Sedan 253-horsepower 3.0L V6 Hybrid
5-speed automatic FWD
No turbo :( although the electric motor sometimes kicks in much like a turbo would see full Honda Accord review
2005 4dr Sedan 160-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed automatic FWD
While having exceptionally smooth accel, perhaps a by product is that power is simply not there with added heft to the car. see full Honda Accord review
