2019 Honda CR-V Love Letter

This car provides very acceptable fuel economy. Lowest in town driving tan kful was 24.5 mpg, and best highway tankfuls range from 30 mpg to 32.5 mpg

Conclusion

This Honda CR-V AWD is responsive, sure footed on rainy or snow covered roads, and it is comfortable. We drive at least four times a year from Maryland to Florida and the car handles very well on highway, and in town. The gas mileage is vey acceptable. In two and one half years of driving it has given me an average fuel economy of about 28 mpg. I drive slightly faster and harder than many drivers, and I have noticed that ifI adhere strictly to posted highway speed and accelerate more moderately, the car provides significantly better gas mileage, maybe as high a 33 mpg highway. It is comfortable for driver, and front and rear seat passengers. Visiblilty is good, the 2019 safetgy features are both useful and appreciated. Sometimes the information screens (infotainment0 features are a bit confusing, particularly those features seldom used, such as areadjusting TPM system,or even resetting oil life readings after an oil change can be hard to intuitively utilize. The plastic cover over the main dashboard instrument panel (speedometer, and other often used insgtruments is subject to scratching if extgreme care is not used in removing dust etc. This has been an issue when the angle of the sun hits the dashboard at "just the right angle", it is nearly impossible to see some of the gauges.
That's the most annoying thing I've noticed...I think that speaks well for the car, since acceleration, handling, AWD preformance on rainy or snowy conditions are all excellent. I would not hesitate to buy a newer model of the Honda CR-V. I owned a leather model in 2018 (EX-L0, and traded for the 2019 only because I was given an excellent deal on this EX. The EX model has almost all of the features of the EX-L except the leather, and this does not make much difference to me as an owner.
