Honda - personal experience ( w/ 3 Accords) for reliability, cost of ownership, resale value. Image - FIT advertised to young, good mileage, practical transportation, green.
Much lower total price than H.Civic or Accord EX.
Have not experienced any major problems with vehicle; feel confident when driving it.
Driving position ensured good visibility when backing up; I had previously felt uncertain in my Honda Accord EX (spoiler seemed to impair rear visibility). Small size and visibility make parking easy.
Do not notice lack of acceleration (despite low HP) drive seems fairly smooth, enjoyable to drive.
