Why the 2011 Honda Fit?

Fuel economy

30 miles per gallon on average in mostly city driving averaging 30 miles per hour or less/stop&go.

Reliability & durability

Jazz (Fit) is rated #6 in Europe in terms of reliability by a warranty company. Few problems reported on Truedelta. Consumer Reports rates reliability high. No long term test I have read has had any issues.

Brand reputation & image

Honda has a known reputation for lasting without issues. I owned a Honda Civic in the past and never had any issues over 70,000 miles of driving.

Insurance cost

The new Honda Fit only cost me a hundred dollars more for insurance then my 10 year old Toyota Solara. Every report suggests the Fit will have a high re-sale value when compared to other cars.

Cargo capacity

Seats in the back fold down flat and can hold 57 cubic feet of stuff or about 3-4 times more then the trunk of an Accord or a Camry.

Why Not the 2011 Honda Fit?

Ride smoothness

The ride is firm and when you go over bumps or road imperfections then you will feel it. Its not punishing, but may get annoying if the roads in your area are not well maintained.

Quietness

The Fit is not a noisy car, but its not as refined as a Camry, Civic or Accord. The noise isnt annoyingly loud, but its definately there.
