I've put 105,000 miles on my 2010 Honda Fit. It runs like new. I put on around 120 miles a day on my Fit and it has never left me stranded.

The 16 inch rims of the Fit Sport doesn't give you much of a selection for tires. The ones that are available don't last more than 30k. All of them give you a rough ride, that's due to the short length of the car, not the tires. That being said, the tires that have made the most difference in ride-quality and tread wear was the Firestone Precision Touring 195/55/r16. This tire is the biggest tire you can fit on the factory rims and still have it fit in the wheel well. Made the ride more comfortable, not perfect mind you, but a noticeable difference in how it absorbs the bumps on the road.
