| 2016 | Also like the Fit, the Honda HR-V leads its class in rear seat spaciousness. with a large-sedan-like 39.3 inches of legroom to the Chevrolet Trax's still adult-worthy 35.7. Rear headroom is ample in both pint-sized crossovers. Given the ability to carry four adults with room to spare, it's no surprise that many people are deciding that they don't need a larger vehicle. see full Honda HR-V review | |

| I hear more complaints about uncomfortable seats from Honda owners than from those of any other brand. The seats in compact Hondas also happen to be among my least favorite. Those in the HR-V, like the similar seats in the Fit, have a headrest and fixed lumbar bulge that jut too far forward for my personal build. The Trax seats also have a somewhat intrusive headrest, but a power-adjustable lumbar bulge. | There's much more room inside the Trax than many people expect given its compact exterior. At 5-9, I could sit behind myself with a few inches of knee room to spare. But if the people in the front seats are taller than me, those in the back seat better be shorter. The Renegade and 500X have about the same amount of rear knee room as the Trax. They have a couple inches more shoulder room, though, so fitting three people in back is a little less of a squeeze. (It will still help if they enjoy physical contact with one another.) The Honda HR-V isn't wider, but does have a few more inches of rear legroom. On the other hand, the rear seats in the Nissan JUKE and MINI Countryman are tighter than that in the Trax. see full Chevrolet Trax review | ||
