What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2012 Honda Odyssey
2011 |
4dr Minivan, ext. 247-horsepower 3.5L V6 w/DoD 5-speed automatic FWD |
The Odyssey has the best seat setup of any minivan on the market, by a large margin. Standard 8th seat, which is usable, easy to flip the 3rd row, adjustable 2nd row without floor rails to collect debris from kiddos.

4dr Minivan, ext. 247-horsepower 3.5L V6 w/DoD 6-speed automatic FWD |
Nice and roomy 2nd row, we really like the Wide mode seating. Very nice 3rd row usable by adults.

4dr Minivan, ext. 247-horsepower 3.5L V6 w/DoD 5-speed automatic FWD |
The seats are still more thinly padded than the competition - and the third row seat angle is merely adequate. My mother in law noted that our Ody 3rd row is really like a standard seat - not "3rd class" - but the Pacifica made her feel like she was "stuck in the back".

TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2012 Mitsubishi i-MiEV
2012 |
Adults won't have any room to spare in the i-MiEV's back seat, but they will fit. This counts as a strength for the same reason ride smoothness and exterior styling do.

The front seats are very close together. And, even after adding an inch for the North American car, your shoulder is quite close to the B-pillar. Anything else with four doors is much roomier inside.

4dr Hatch 66-horsepower Electric 1-speed automatic RWD |
Has a lot of interior room for the exterior size. It has more than enough legroom for my 12-13 year old kids.

I am 5'11" and I need to have the seat fully back to be comfortable. Not suitable for persosns over 6' tall.
