Previously owned a 2003 Honda Odyssey that was completely trouble free for the 65,000 miles that we owned it. We only had to replace it because of a DUI hit and run that totaled that van.
We liked the overall versatility of the mini-van. We could haul people and or stuff in any combination. It handled much better than an SUV and had more space and better fuel economy.
During the time we owned our previous Odyssey both the interior and exterior held up well hauling kids and pets.
Fuel economy is reasonable for a family hauler that can carry up to 8 persons. I get 25-27 mpg on the freeway and 18-22 mpg in city/suburban driving.
