We bought this Odyssey off-lease with 38K miles on it in early 2003. It is now late 2014, she's got 201K on her with no powertrain work ever, apart from normal upkeep.
She aged very gracefully, and is still in daily use.

Clean - and at this point almost classic - lines. Instantly recognizable.
Duh. Functional but with utterly dull.
Acceptable. Was not a big deal for me personally.
Nice engine and excellent performance for a minivan from this era. Trans can get laggy on occasion.
We\'ve owned this van for almost 12 years now and its fuel economy has stood still at 20MPG in just about any set of circumstances. Unimpressive but consistant.
The best handling minivan of this era, bar none. Period.
Excellent stopping power but the van tends to eat brakes and tires for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The ride is NOT smooth. Never has been, regardless of tires, alignment, replaced shocks/struts and what not. We just learned to live with it along the way.
Noisy. Wind noise. Front end noise. Not horrible, but I expected a lot better from Honda.
The best tires we\'ve had on this van were Michelin HydroEdge which are unfortunately no longer available. Currently riding on a set of Michelin Defenders which are quite disappointing. This van eats tires, always has, all the alignments notwithstanding.
OK
Quite uncomfortable. Seats are way too hard and tiresome on longer journeys.
Very good.
OK. Once again, the comfort aspect - not the space available - leave a lot to be desired.
Lacking. In a vehicle of this size there should be way more interior storage space.
I'd buy this car again in a heartbeat. She has served us fabulously well.
On the less-than-bright side, the ride comfort and noise leave a lot to be desired, as does the design of the driver seat. Be prepared to spend money on alignment, pads and tires but not much else.
I've owned many cars over the past 30+ years, and the Odyssey has been the most reliable one.
