2006 - 2008 Honda Ridgeline

Hi! I recently bought a 2007 RTL. I like it and I plan to use it as a daily driver and keep it until it's no longer practical. I'm in my mid-60's and mobility could be an issue in the future.. The only thing that it doesn't have is a rear view backup camera. The overall unit visibility is okay but it has a few quirky blind spots at the pillars, rear and front areas too.. But basically I'm just interested in learning as much as possible about it beyond the owners manual..I've discovered that any manuals for Honda products are just stupid expensive, almost unaffordable..like $125 for a paper manual-WTH!! Thanks for help and input..

i too wanted a back up camera...do you have a rtl with navigation??? i do have an rtl with navi... i went to my local stero installation shop to see what they had to offer.. ...i got a license plate frame camera and a cannon plug adapter to use the navi screen for backup camera picture... to install it was about 2 hrs... and it was about $400...works great and is a HUGE help backing the rtl up...

another option if you dont have navi is a rear view mirror back up camera picture and runs $400 to $500...or a complete radio replacement that has a screen that is compatible with a back up camera...that can be $700 to $1000 easy..

back up camera for the ridge was expensive but def worth it..hope that helps

Hi! Thanks for the suggestions..all very good ideas..this is an RTL that was built without navigation..I am going on a search for a nav unit to swap out..that could be difficult to find..also going to look at the rear view mirror camera setups..thanks for the help!!
