YearBody/PowertrainComment
2008 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6

30 mpg on the highway under cruise control. 21 mpg overall in the city. see full Hyundai Azera review
2008 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Variable valve powertrain delivers very good city mileage (16 mile trips per day @ 22mpg) and above expectation highway (425 mile trip at 32mpg). Highway is usually above 30 even in slow interstate traffic in the city. see full Hyundai Azera review
Hyundai Azera Real Gas Mileage: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2008 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
The gas mileage is respectable but lower than most cars in the large sedan class. see full Hyundai Azera review
2007 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Poor mileage. see full Hyundai Azera review
2006 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
While stellar fuel economy can't be expected in a 3600 Lb car with a 3.8L V6, it does leave something to be desired, averaging somewhere between 15-17MPG in a mix of city and highway driving. Pure city driving returns closer to 13-15 MPG (although the peppy engine may have something to do with that). The car would really benefit from a 6th gear. see full Hyundai Azera review
2006 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
short distance driving exhibits just fair fuel economy see full Hyundai Azera review

Hard on fuel around town but that's not why I bought it. Decent on the highyway, 14.7 l/100 km at 105 km/hr with the 3.92 rear end. see full Chrysler Aspen review
